Snow, sleigh bells, solace, sustenance;
Sitting by the fire;
Sharing with family and friends
the charms of slowing down or
accelerating, as celebrations are sustained or created anew.
These are among the welcome images that appear to mind
as winter officially nears and beckons occasional breaks from
the pace of other times of the year.
Looking out, I am awed by the breathtaking beauty of this season.
Looking in, I am grateful to the many who have supported me
throughout the year with referrals, kind advice, care, collaboration and generosity.
Thank you for inspiring deep appreciation. May you have quiet moments to take in
